Torch on
Consists of two layers of modified asphalt, usually melted together by a torch. Creates a roof that is resistant to ultraviolet light and a waterproof barrier, ideal for Vancouver’s wet season. Used for flats roofs where snow or rain can easily collect and sit for long periods of time.

Metal
A metal roof is the number one choice when it comes to durability. Properly maintained, a metal roof can last you a lifetime. Pacific Coast Contractors are experts at choosing and installing metal roofs on any kind of commercial property.

Shingle
Shingle roofing consists of rectangular pieces of overlapping materials such as wood, slate, flagstone, metal, plastic, and composite materials such as fibre cement and asphalt. This roof type tends to deteriorate faster than others, because it needs to repel more water than wall shingles. It is a very common roofing material in North America.

EPDM
A type of synthetic rubber widely used in sloped buildings across North America, EPDM is extremely durable. It’s two ingredients, ethylene and propylene, are derived from oil and natural gas. Offered in black and white.

TPO
TPO, or Thermoplastic Polyolefin is a single-ply membrane made of polypropylene and ethylene-propylene rubber. TPO keeps buildings warm in the winter and cool in the summer, thanks to its UV reflective surface.

Tile
Inspired by the beautiful roofs of the mediterranean, Pacific Coast Contractors use a combination of traditional technique and modern materials to provide a timeless look. The relatively low weight of the material means less worries about the support structure of your building.

Cedar
Cut from the heartwood of cedar timber, cedar roofing material is resistant to warping, twisting, or cracking under sunlight and temperature changes. If you’re looking for a natural look for the roof of your building, look no further than Pacific Coast Contractors’ cedar roofing.
