1. Who we are

This website, pacificcoastcontracting.ca, is operated by Pacific Coast Contracting Ltd. (“PCC,” “we,” “us”), a contracting group serving Metro Vancouver, British Columbia through its roofing, renovation, and decking divisions. Our office is at #2160 – 853 Seaborne Avenue, Port Coquitlam, BC V3B 0N9. Contact:[email protected] or(604) 554-0962.

Our division websites (pccroofing.ca, pccrenovations.ca, pccdecking.ca) have their own privacy policies covering the information collected there.

2. Information we collect

  • Inquiry forms. Name, phone number, email address, and the project details you share when you request an estimate or contact us.
  • Guide downloads. If you request our homeowner guide, we collect your email address to deliver it and, with your consent, to follow up.
  • Automatic data. IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referral source, via cookies and the tools in section 6. Until you accept non-essential cookies, Google’s measurement tags receive this only in cookieless, non-identifying form; our hosting and delivery providers still process your IP address and request details to serve each page (section 4).

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to inquiries and provide estimates and services (service messages included);
  • To deliver content you request, such as the homeowner guide;
  • With your consent, to send occasional marketing in line with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) — unsubscribe anytime;
  • To measure and improve the website and our advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. Inquiries submitted through this site are stored in our own systems and emailed to our team. Some of our forms — for example certain renovation inquiry forms and the homeowner-guide request — are provided by HubSpot, our customer relationship platform, and details submitted through them are stored with HubSpot so our team can follow up. We also use service providers to operate the site and measure it — hosting and delivery (Render, Cloudflare), Google (analytics and advertising measurement — full measurement only after you accept non-essential cookies, otherwise only cookieless, non-identifying signals, see section 6 — and reCAPTCHA spam protection), and Microsoft Clarity (anonymized usage insights such as heatmaps, only after you accept non-essential cookies). Providers may only use your information to provide their services to us. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

Advertising measurement. If you accept non-essential cookies and then submit a form on this site, we also send your email address and phone number to Google Ads so we can tell which advertisement led to your inquiry. Before they are sent, those details are turned into a one-way code (a SHA-256 hash) in your browser, so Google does not receive them in readable form — but Google can match that code against its own records, so this is still a sharing of information about you. If you decline non-essential cookies, or have not answered the banner, none of this is sent. You can also limit ad personalization in yourGoogle Ad Settings.

Form submissions are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms of service.

5. Where your information is stored

Our systems and providers store and process data both in Canada and outside it, primarily in the United States. While in another country, information may be accessible to that country’s authorities under its laws. Contact us with any questions about cross-border handling.

6. Cookies and analytics

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. Nothing non-essential is set until you choose. If you accept, we use Google Analytics to measure site traffic, Google Ads to measure our advertising, and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used through usage insights such as heatmaps. If you decline, or do not answer, Microsoft Clarity does not run, no analytics or advertising cookie is set and no identifier is stored on your device; Google’s tags still receive basic cookieless signals from the pages you load and from actions such as sending a form (the page address, the fact that an inquiry was sent, and an approximate location from your IP address), which are used only for aggregate measurement and cannot be linked to you across visits. You can change your mind by clearing this site’s data in your browser, and most browsers let you block cookies entirely. Declining does not affect your ability to use the site or contact us.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as needed to handle your inquiry or project, and afterwards as needed to meet legal, tax, and warranty obligations, then delete or anonymize it.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are spam-protected, access to stored information is limited, and we use reputable providers with their own security programs. No method is completely secure, but we protect your information appropriately.

9. Your rights

You may request access to or correction of your personal information, or withdraw consent, by contacting us. We respond as required by the BC Personal Information Protection Act and PIPEDA. Unresolved concerns can be raised with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

10. Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 19 without a parent or guardian’s consent.
