Across all three, lots long zoned for single-detached homes and duplexes can now take up to four units.

Climate & building notes

Delta sits on low, flat delta land protected by dikes and seawalls, with the Fraser River to the north, Boundary Bay to the south and the Strait of Georgia to the west — open water on more sides than inland municipalities have. It is one of the drier corners of the region, but wind and salt air off the water are worth weighing when choosing roofing and exterior finishes, in Tsawwassen and along the waterfront in particular.
